Characters, faces and text art to copy and paste

Ready to use: tap Copy and paste them into your bio, a chat, a caption or a game name.

Copy it, paste it, done

Everything on this page is ready-made text: symbols, text faces, emoji sets, a blank character and art made of characters. Pick a tool, tap Copy and paste the result into your Instagram bio, a WhatsApp chat, a TikTok caption, a Discord server or a game nickname.

These are characters, not pictures, so they paste like any letter you type. Nothing to install and no sign-up: every tool works in the browser on your phone or computer, and what you type stays on your device.

Start from where you'll paste it

Each tool fits a different job. Pick by what you want the result to do.

  • A bio or caption that stands out: stars, hearts and dividers from the symbols library, or a ready-made emoji combination
  • A reaction in a chat: a kaomoji for every mood, or a Lenny face when the moment calls for ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
  • A name or message that looks empty: the invisible character generator gives you a blank that most apps accept
  • A big word made of characters: ASCII art turns your text into a banner, image to ASCII turns a photo into text art
  • A Discord message with style: colored text uses the ansi code block, the formatter handles bold, spoilers and headings

Symbols, kaomoji and emoji are not the same thing

A symbol is one character, like ★, ♡ or →. Your phone draws it with the same font as your text, so it matches the letters around it and works in almost every app.

A kaomoji is a face built from several characters, like (◕‿◕) or (╯°□°)╯. It reads left to right, so it fits inside a sentence. Lenny faces are kaomoji too, with a few symbols that some fonts draw a little differently.

An emoji is drawn by your phone or app, in color. The same emoji can look different on an iPhone, an Android phone and a computer, so check a combination on the device your friends use before you post it.

When it shows boxes or disappears

If you see boxes ▯ where a character should be, the app you pasted into has no font for it. Try a different symbol, or keep to the simpler ones: hearts, stars and arrows work almost everywhere.

Some apps remove blank characters when you save, and games often limit how long a name can be or reject some symbols. Paste it where you plan to use it and check before you settle on one.

ASCII art only lines up in a monospace font, where every character takes the same width. On Discord, put it inside a code block; in a normal chat bubble the lines can slide apart.

Frequently asked questions

Is everything here free?

Yes. Every tool on this page is free, with no sign-up and no app to install.

How do I copy something on my phone?

Tap the Copy button next to the item you want, then long-press where you want it and choose Paste. On a computer, press Ctrl+V or Cmd+V.

Why do some characters show up as boxes?

The app you pasted into has no font for that character, so it draws a box ▯ instead. Pick a simpler symbol, or check it in the app before you post it.

Will it look the same on iPhone and Android?

Symbols, kaomoji and ASCII art mostly do, because they use the font of your text. Emoji don't: each phone draws its own, so a combination can look different on another device.

Can I use these in a game nickname?

Often, yes. Games limit how long a name can be and some reject certain symbols, so paste it in the game and check it there before you save.
